Software DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Software DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and software delivery platforms. The candidate will work closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability, automation, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure on AWS and Linode using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes and AWS EKS using Helm and Argo CD.
• Configure and support Istio service mesh, Nginx, Apache, and AWS ALB for traffic management and service reliability.
• Troubleshoot Linux, application, networking, and deployment issues across environments.
• Implement DevSecOps practices — using Trivy and Prowler — to identify and remediate infrastructure, container, and cloud security vulnerabilities.
• Monitor system health and performance, and support production deployments and releases.
• Maintain Git-based workflows and version control best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, Software Engineering, or System Administration.
• Good understanding of Linux, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and work with modern cloud and DevOps technologies.
