We are a rapidly growing software company that specializes in Healthcare solutions for the US market. Our software is designed to handle high-volume transactions and requires fail-safe measures to ensure our clients can operate smoothly. Our team is currently 50+ members strong and we are looking for a QA Lead to join us.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to join our team. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for designing and conducting QA-related tasks in coordination with other key members of the team. You will be responsible for establishing a reporting mechanism, conducting prevention and root cause analysis, and prioritizing testing activities. The successful candidate will have experience in software testing, testing methodologies, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the quality assurance strategy for our software products
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure that quality is embedded within the software development process
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to catch issues as early as possible
  • Lead and mentor the QA team to achieve project goals
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that quality is embedded throughout the software development process
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement and drive change to improve quality across the organization
  • Conduct prevention and root cause analysis to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and other test documents
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and technical delivery managers) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in payment systems is preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • 1-2 years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, and others
  • 1 year of experience with coding using JAVA, HTML5, DB2, XML
  • 1 year of experience with selenium
  • 1-2 years of experience with software QA tools and processes
  • Experience in database technologies and writing SQL queries.
  • Experience in API Testing, Security testing, Load Testing along with report analysis.
