Job Summary 

We’re looking for a mission-driven AI/ML Engineer who is technically rigorous, entrepreneurially minded, and genuinely excited about building AI systems that work. You will own our AI roadmap end-to-end: from architecting LLM-based products, Developing and deploying AI-powered solutions across our client verticals. 

What You’ll Work On

Domain – Adapted LLMS
  • Fine-tune or train large language models on domain-specific datasets— education, health-tech, and enterprise services.
  • Own the full data infrastructure: corpus curation, cleaning, tokenization, and evaluation.
AI-Powered Products
  • Architect and ship AI-driven product features — conversational agents, adaptive systems, and intelligent interfaces — across our client engagements. 
  • Integrate RAG pipelines, vector search, and knowledge retrieval into production systems. 
AI Strategy & Leadership
  • Define the AI/ML direction for the firm — stack, tooling, and research priorities. 
  • Guide and mentor junior team members as the team grows. 
  • Partner directly with the senior team to identify and pursue AI product and client opportunities. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage data collection, cleaning, and annotation workflows  
  • Fine-tune and deploy LLMs; build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or custom frameworks.  
  • Design retrieval-augmented generation pipelines over structured educational and domain content.  
  • Own the full model lifecycle — training, evaluation, versioning, deployment, and monitoring.  
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams; translate research into working systems.  
  • Maintain clear technical documentation of models, architectures, datasets, and decision rationale.  

Qualifications 

Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field — or equivalent demonstrated expertise. 
Required Experience (2+ years)
  • Hands-on LLM work: fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RLHF, or pre-training on custom corpora. 
  • End-to-end ML pipelines: data → training → evaluation → deployment. 
  • Production deployment experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS), and monitoring tools. 
Technical Skills
  • Python (advanced); PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers, scikit-learn – Languages & Frameworks  
  • LangChain, LangGraph, vLLM, or similar; experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate) – LLM Tooling.  
  • MLflow, W&B, or equivalent; CI/CD for ML; containerization with Docker.  
  • SQL/NoSQL for data retrieval; vector store design and management.  
  • Git, API development (FastAPI or Flask), and clean code practices . 
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) or direct preference optimization (DPO). 
  • Knowledge of responsible AI practices: bias detection, fairness, and evaluation. 
  • Experience with big data tools (Spark, Kafka) or annotation platforms (Label Studio, Prodigy).
