Automation QA Engineer (Playwright + Python + AI)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Playwright and Python-based automation. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work on modern testing practices and explore AI-driven testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright (Python)
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks
• Perform UI and API testing (manual + automated)
• Collaborate with developers and product teams in an Agile environment
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results and ensure high-quality releases

AI-Driven Testing (Good to Have)

• Use AI tools for test case generation and optimization
• Understand self-healing test automation concepts
• Exposure to LLM-based testing (e.g., ChatGPT)
• Interest in AI-powered quality engineering

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Playwright (Python)
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts (STLC/SDLC)
• Experience in API testing
• Familiarity with PyTest / automation frameworks
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with Git/version control
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Behave)
• Exposure to performance testing tools
• Experience with AI testing tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
